Welcome to IPS Academy Library System. Having Six libraries in its fold, the IPSA Knowledge hub is accomplishing its task of reaching to the wider academic community. The library has OnLine Public Access Catalogue(OPAC). Eight access points are available for the Library user within the library. User also uses educational CDs in library premises. The Library regularly conducts innovative Information Literacy Programs (ILP) for the benefit of students, researchers and Faculty members and also making efforts in developing tutorials to make the community proficient in the use of WWW. We endeavor to further improve all our efforts to facilitate right information to the right user at the right time. It is situated in the midst of the academic complex of the IPSA and is the hub of all the academic activities of the IPSA and provides comprehensive access to books, journals, reports, e-journal/online databases, e-books, electronic theses and dissertations.

IIT Bombay Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has confirmed the establishment of the Institute of Engineering & Science, IPS Academy, Indore as NODAL CENTRE IN MP REGION SPOKEN TUTORIAL PROJECTS funded by MHRD, Govt. of India from 13th June 2012.

Services
The Circulation Section remains open between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays.
Reference services are provided to the users from 8.00 A. M. to 6.00 P. M. Users can refer printed documents and non printed materials like CD ROM databases and Video Cassettes in the library during the specified period. The users also can avail the facilities like Database searching and printing.
Xeroxing facilities is available in the library at the following timing and rates:
Timings: 10:00 AM to 6.00 PM (on all working days).
The service is given at the subsidized rate of 50 paise per page.
The library subscribes all subject online journals. The journals are accessed by our readers with the unique Login ID and Password. The readers can also access the same remotely. Some Journals are based on IP so reader can access it in the campus without id and password.
The library has around 1589 back issues of journals of selected journals. Which they can access.
The library brings out Current Contents (Monthly), a compilation of content pages of some selected journals. Two copies are compiled and kept for reference in the library and teachers’ staff room.
The library has created database where in the staff articles (bibliographic and full text) are indexed.
The Library and Information Centre invites teachers pursuing doctoral degrees to access our library with no fees. The membership is valid for six months.
The library allows the teachers and the students of other colleges for reference only. They can refer our library by submitting a written request from the Principal or Librarian of their college. There are many colleges who are referring our library regularly.
Book Bank Services are provided to Under Graduate Students and Post graduate student in Physics and Biotechnology department.
Facilities
The library has Cyber Space to provide free access to internet for students.
The library has a separate section comprising around 2800 CDs and DVDs which support the students and teachers.
The library has an Institutional membership of DELNET, Delhi. The students and teachers can borrow books from the library.
The library procures the books which are duly recommended by teachers and students through Requisition Form.
Journals and Online Resources: The Library subscribes 108 Journals and different online resources like DELNET, N-List and other online journals also.
Library organize Orientation program for the student and Faculty on regular basis.
